Lab. Introduction

1. The study of nonlinear integer programming method, a large number of compression 0-1 variables, significantly enhance the complex large data computing speed. Related articles published in Operations Research and INFORMS Journal on Computing and other top journals. And applied to solve the problem of problem set, supply chain problem, decision ball problem. Recently developed a faster compression method, applicable to large data analysis and engineering design, will also be published in the famous journals.

2. The development of a combination of online courses platform (HowMOOC). Using hippocampus theory to create a new generation of MOOC system to combine a variety of courses. This platform is being used by NCTU as the core technology of the next generation of Innovative education.

3. Using management and mathematical methods to analyze the " I Ching" to write "learning easy to help decision-making," a book, by the NCTU outstanding works reward. Among them, the ball has the mainland and Taiwan patents. And is committed to the map and reasoning method, the interpretation of I Ching to convergence modern management. The goal of the lab : with the sound of knowledge, accompanied by lifelong learning.
