Lab. Introduction

The main research direction of this laboratory is to use the computer science, management and economics methods to study the related technology application and economic strategy of the digital information industry (such as digital content, information supply chain, network telecommunication, e-commerce and community network).

The main features of the research topic are closely linked to the current industrial pulsations and academic research topics.

In the area of IT applications, we are developing effective and reliable business intelligence and social computing services system using the integration of information and network technologies (e.g. information networks, artificial intelligence, data mining technology) in e-commerce and web services.

In the information economy strategy, mainly in the construction of e-commerce and network service operation mode, and using quantitative analysis methods (such as game theory, information economics, industrial organization, statistical model), to develop practical and rigorous technology policy and competitive strategy.

 Current research topics include social computing services and recommendation mechanisms, peer-to-peer web applications and knowledge management, digital content and digital supply chains, and analysis of service strategies for the Internet economy.
